Japan NPO Center conducted research on programming in Tokyo.
It looked at the first two years of Play Academy since it began implementing programming in 2021. The following five key evaluations were assessed:
- What are the gender perceptions within organizations? How have they changed?
- How has the sport environment been made to encourage girls’ interest and motivation to play?
- Has a safe and secure environment been established? What are the factors contributing to it?
- Have girls’ self-efficacy improved?
- Have the girls felt safe and secure?
